Dr. Susan Schmutz Smith is a second generation Nevadan. She grew up in the Las Vegas valley and attended Chaparral High School. As a teenager she worked with her father, Dr. Joe, who was a local pediatric dentist. Working closely with her father gave her valuable experience and a love for dentistry. Dr. Smith graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then received her Doctorate degree in Dentistry at Creighton University.
Since opening her practice in 2002, Dr. Smith has built strong relationships with her patients. She is conservative and caring with treatment, and concerned about her patient’s well-being. She understands the importance of educating the community on oral health as well as offering the best dental treatment possible. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Nevada Dental Association, and lectures on Infection Control for dental professionals.
Dr. Deepa Assandas is a true Nevada native. She was born and raised in the Las Vegas Valley and attended Las Vegas High School. After high school, she went on to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Business Management. Dr. Assandas was then accepted into the UNLV School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Shortly following her graduation from dental school, she went on to complete her General Practice Residency at the University of South California (USC) in Los Angeles.
Since moving back to Las Vegas, Dr. Assandas has been working in the Las Vegas Valley and is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Association.
Kaylee Wetmore, RDH is originally from Arizona. She has lived in Las Vegas since 2016. She received her degree in Dental Hygiene in Bullhead City, Arizona. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking, watching movies and spending quality time with family and friends.
Sherry Smith, RDH has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1989 and practicing RDH since receiving her degree in Las Vegas in 1996. Sherry enjoys exercising, attending concerts, volunteer work, and spending time with family and friends. She has one son, Brody.
Janessa Fisher, RDH has been a hygienist for several years. Working as a hygienist has been her dream since the second grade and every patient makes her fall more in love with the job! During her free time she is out hiking, camping, traveling and spending time with her family. She’s been to multiple countries doing humanitarian work and loves that her job gives her the opportunity for service and making a difference anywhere in the world.
